Sorrento Strong is a viscose yarn lamè nickel free. It’s a micro cord with a diameter of about 0.6mm, is composed of several equal yarns, in composition/diameter, joined together. Sorrento STRONG is made with the same production process as Sorrento. The difference is only in the inner fiber of the wire that makes it more tenacious. Designed and produced to be used in simple creations such as: anklets, bracelets and necklaces that can also be exposed to sea water while maintaining a high resistance. It is always a textile fiber.

The production is carried out in several steps, combining and binding the various garments with ancient artisanal textile techniques. There may be manual joints inside the package. The look of the yarn is compact, smooth and comfortable, considering the raw material in lamé. Ideal for works such as: rosary necklaces worked in crochet and crystalline, crochet jewel, Tunisian crochet, tatting needle, micro macrame' jewel, small needles.
Tips on choosing in crochet.
The size of the crochet to be used is chosen based on the brand of the crochet , the color or the size of the yarn, the type of work you want to make, but above all it can vary according to the tension that each of us imprints in the work you are making. Remember to work the beads with soft (not tight) chains. If during the process of the project you notice that the crochet hook does not collect the thread well, it is recommended to rise with the measure of crochet. Recommended crochet from 1.25, 1.50mm
Tips for inserting beads.
The choice of the material to be inserted in the thread must be made according to its diameter . For sorrento strong jewel yarn choose pearls, resins, crystals, glasses or beads with a hole of at least 0.8 mm (for example crystalline 1 mm and more).
To facilitate the insertion of the beads it is recommended to moisten the first 10cm of the thread with glue type attack, let dry and proceed with the insertion of the beads. It is advisable to use the needle threads beads starting from crystalline at least 6mm, whereas you will have to double the thread that passes through the hole of the bead. (be careful! that the bead that has the right diameter to pass the thread doubled). For inserting a high amount of crystalline into the wire, please slide the beads carefully. Once finished the project stop the glue work type hasulith, claw or glue for fabrics.
Coloring
The thread is present in several shades that can vary in color, texture and gloss, this depends on the composition of the raw material with which it is made. Shiny lamé colours can be softer, softer, while satin or lacquered colours can be more sustained. This is to be considered a technical feature of the various baths of lamè color and not of the production. the color 99020 is composed of a special mirrored lamè that can be more voluminous. Bright colors, rarely, during processing may release small traces of color.
